TapSafeWater aggregates data from the EPA Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS). Coverage includes:
- 50 US states + DC, ~19,000 cities, ~20,000 ZIP codes, ~48,000 public water systems.
- 5 years of EPA violations per system with contaminant, category, dates, and measured levels.
- Plain-language contaminant guides with health effects and EPA limits (MCLs).
